Field to Fork highlights local products with an outdoor farm dinner on Wadmalaw

The Point, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting groups in the Lowcountry that focus on the needs of less fortunate women, is partnering with the Ambrose family to present an afternoon of good eats on the farm.

Field to Fork takes place on Sun. March 31 at the Ambrose family residence on Wadmalaw, with a reception starting things off at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased online.

Field to Fork is a multi-course, al fresco dinner set among picturesque live oaks on Adams Creek. All of the food for the meal is sourced locally from from farms, including the Ambrose Family Farm, and prepared by the chefs of Tomato Shed Cafe.



The event includes a cocktail reception, live music, a chat with farmer Pete Ambrose, and, of course, dinner. In a press release Ambrose says, “We want to continue to provide an opportunity for people to have an authentic farm experience, and to connect with local food in a meaningful way."
