Monday

Celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week at Five Loaves, Sesame Burgers & Beer, and Ember Wood Fired Kitchen May 6-10. Show your ID and get a free appetizer with any entree.

Head to Low Tide tonight for Pub and Politics with Sandy Senn starting at 5 p.m.

It's National No Diet Day — Palmetto Brewing helps you non dieters celebrate with a decadent beer and pastry pairing (c/o Pretty Lie Pie Co.). Think mini key lime cupcake paired with Mango IPA.



Nico Oysters + Seafood hosts their weekly oyster class starting at 6 p.m. Try a dozen oysters, sip on Oysterman wine, and learn all about bivalves.

Get your goods for the week at the Folly Farmers Market starting at 4 p.m.

Tuesday

Matt and Ted Lee launch their new book all about catering, Hotbox, at the Charleston Library Society starting at 6 p.m. Pappy Van Winkle's Julian P. Van Winkle III will join them.

Freehouse Brewery takes over the taps at Bay Street Biergarten from 6 to 10 p.m.

Wine & Co. host a South American wine tasting with Jessica Henson starting at 5:30 p.m. for $10 per person.

MOD Pizza celebrates teachers all day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with buy one get one free pizzas and salads.

Farmers market fiends east of the Cooper can head to the Mt. P market starting at 3:30 p.m.

From 6 to 8 p.m. head to Cannon Distillery for Eat, Sip & Breathe, a fundraiser for the American Lung Association. Sip on craft cocktails like a Chai Mule, a Spicy Screwdriver, a White Russian, and an Old Fashioned.

Wednesday

Wine down your hump day at Old Towne Creek County Park from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with vino, food trucks, and entertainment.

Pounce Cat Cafe hosts Feline + Wine: Bubbles Tasting starting at 6:30 p.m.

If you're cat averse, head to Josephine for their wine tasting, The Bold & The Blind, starting at 6:30 p.m. The guest who has the most correct “guesses” will win a bottle of their favorite wine from the tasting.

If you wanna sip vino with views, Middleton hosts their garden stroll and wine tasting starting at 5:30 p.m.

Striped Pig hosts yoga in the distillery starting at 5 p.m.

Head to Edmund's Oast Brewing Co. at 6:30 p.m. for the soda can challenge pub run.

Thursday

Sip on beer or wine or both! At Hops & Vines at McLeod Plantation Historic Site starting at 5:15 p.m. There will be live music, food trucks, and complimentary tours of the site for those who arrive early.

The North Charleston Farmers Market runs from 3 to 7 p.m. at Felix C Davis Community Center.

Get a Taste of Hutson Alley starting at 6 p.m. with chef-attended stations, craft beer, wine, and live music.

Every Thurs. at 5:30 p.m. at King Street Green, held at Workshop, enjoy the tunes from Barn Jam bands plus plenty of food and drink.

Wild Common hosts the first event in their wine dinner series with Gramercy Cellars starting at 7:30 p.m.

Friday

Saturday

Chef Kevin Mitchell gives a free talk on his research on Charleston's enslaved and free African-American cooks starting at 2 p.m. at the Johns Island Regional Library.

Pawleys Island Brewing Co. hosts a 'What the Shell!' luau themed tropical lager release party starting at 4 p.m. with games, music, and food trucks.

Head to the Charleston Farmers Market, Tanger Outlets Lowcountry Farmers Market, or Summerville's Farmers Market on Saturday.

The Grand Bohemian continues their MadHatter brunch series starting at 11 a.m.

Sweetgrass Gardens hosts a special Seed to Soul dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. with four courses that will "connect your soul to the seeds of Amor and the local abundance of the Lowcountry."
