Singer/guitarist/harmonica player Robert Lighthouse, a native of Sweden currently based in Washington, D.C., performs several shows this week. A familiar character on the Blues Bash roster from year to year, Lighthouse specializes in Mississippi Delta blues and Chicago guitar blues. His most recent album is a collection titled Deep Down in the Mud.
Lighthouse performed at the Library today (Thurs. Feb. 3), and he’ll do two sets at the Southend Brewery & Smokehouse from 6-9 p.m. this evening. Look for him on Fri. Feb. 4 at the Coco Vivo from 6-8 p.m. and at the Blind Tiger at 9 p.m. He concludes his stint on Sat. Feb. 5 at the Griffon with a set at 8:30 p.m.
