Country legend Loretta Lynn is solid for the PAC

The North Charleston Performing Arts Center welcomes country artist Loretta Lynn to the stage this fall.

The Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter and Country Music Hall of Fame member has been singing for more than 50 years. Her rags-to-riches, Kentucky-to-Nashville life story was presented in the 1980 film The Coal Miner’s Daughter (the titled refers to a song, an album, and her best-selling autobiography. Lynn retired from the music business in the 1990s, but she returned to recording in 2000. The 2004 album Van Lear Rose, produced by Jack White (of the White Stripes), topped the country charts and introduced her music to a new generation of fans. At 76, she’s still going strong.

Lynn headlines the PAC on Thurs. Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. Presented by AC Entertainment, reserved seats for the show go on sale on Fri.
