“We had to make certain sacrifices to help with the band’s future success," Burke says. “Living on a farm with no bills is the gist. We do plan to be back in Charleston this January."
Burke and his bandmates — banjo player Bailey Horsley, upright bassist Tom Propst, and mandolinist David Vaughan — have a fall show at the Pour House. Look for them with guest guitarist/pianist Howard Dlugasch and drummer Jim Donnelly on Fri. Oct. 14. The show is the first of their fall tour supporting their latest album, Dark Country.
“Another two months on the road, across the country,” Burke says. “The summer tour was a huge success, and we’re very excited to get back out there and see those fans.”
