Don’t be confused by the connotation of the name “ABC Fest” on Sun. Jan. 22 at the Brick House Kitchen. Although liquor will be available at the Brick House bar, the event is more about the beer.

The Arts, Brew, Community Fest was organized by local tattoo artist Justin Johnson and Brick House owner Christopher Thomas. The Holy City Brewing brewers will be on hand offering free tastings and affordable pints of their latest batches of ales and lagers. Local acts the Royal Tinfoil, Skye Paige, Rustic Remedy, and a burlesque show will entertain the crowd.

Take a break from the boogie and suds to check out the handful of local artists displaying their tattoo creations, as well as local artisans, jewelers, and craftsmen with work for sale. The fun starts at 4 p.m. Contact abcfest@yahoo.com or (843) 406-4655 for more details. —Stratton Lawrence
