See Charleston according to ShoRo
WILDSAM, a travel site with unique local insight, has featured Charleston’s Shovels & Rope in its Day Off series in which the couple reveals a few of their favorite Holy City spots.
The sloppy-tonk duo, Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent, highlight early morning Folly Beach strolls and lunch at King Street’s Monza as examples of their daytime go-to's.
As for nighttime hotspots, Hearst gives some love to music venues the Pour House and Charleston Music Hall. She also mentions that watching local outfit Garage Cuban Band (Bill Carson, Jonathan Gray, Jack Burg, Ron Wiltrout, Nathan Koci) and noshing on boiled peanuts (hummus) at King Street cocktail bar, Proof, is "always a good time.”
