Late this afternoon, the Goose Creek Police Department released the following statement:
This agency continues to investigate the crimes alleged to have occurred at Two Keys Tavern on Saturday, April 21, 2012. On Wednesday, April 25 2012, a search warrant was served at that location for the purpose of collecting and preserving evidence of the crimes alleged. During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized a video recording system that captured the battery of a patron by an individual wielding a pool cue. Investigators are currently analyzing the video and will be arranging to have the video downloaded to a form of media suitable for distribution. We do not have at our immediate disposal the technology required to download the video. We will be seeking interagency assistance with this endeavor in the very near future and intend to make the video available in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act as soon as this is accomplished.
