Citadel hosts doc screening

Little Town of Bethlehem looks at the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

There is no topic quite so cheerful as the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but amidst all the chaos, filmmaker Jim Hanon found three men, each of different faiths, who choose the non-violent route while living in the tumultuous area. His documentary Little Town of Bethlehem follows each of them, showing both the praise and criticism they receive as a result of their actions (or lack thereof).

A free screening of the film will be held at the Citadel, hosted by the military college’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences and professor Sarah Tenney’s Middle Eastern affairs class, on Wed. Sept. 21, which happens to be the U.N.’s International Day of Peace. The film starts at 7 p.m. in room 165 of Bond Hall on the school’s campus.
