Documenting the Grey Man, a movie filmed in Mt. Pleasant and at the Wedge Plantation in McClellanville by local company Reserve Productions, has signed a distribution deal with Camp Motions Pictures/POP Cinema for digital distribution and a DVD release in spring 2012.

The docudrama horror, based on Pawley’s Island’s Grey Man ghosts, was made using a mostly local cast and crew. Wayne Capps, the writer and director of Grey Man, has served as a consultant for Army Wives and Kathy Griffin’s military escort on her overseas USO tour for her reality program My Life on the D List.

The production company is currently filming a second horror feature, The Ripping, and will be casting for their Weekend Warriors project soon; visit Reserve Productions' website for more info.
