WATCH: Charleston-shot TV series South of Hell debuts trailer

Did they mean South of Broad ...

Yesterday the Eli-Roth directed TV series, South of Hell, teased audiences with a 30 second trailer for the show which premieres on WEtv the day after Thanksgiving. Black Friday indeed.

The show stars Charleston native Mena Suvari (best known as the hottie from American Beauty) as a demon hunter who has a supernatural force living inside her. The series started filming in Charleston last October, with the P&C mentioning it shooting at downtown locations like the Battery and Montagu and Chalmers streets. The crew spent most of their time in North Charleston, at the soundstage that was used by the short-lived series Reckless.

South of Hell won't have to worry about being canceled before giving audiences everything they want — you can watch the entire first season on Fri. Nov. 27 when the show premieres. WEtv will screen all seven episodes starting at 6 p.m., with the series available to watch on Video on Demand and digitally the next day. What better way to celebrate the gluttony of the holidays than with a binge session?
