The Charleston Music Hall is putting the lights on the tree early; yesterday they announced this year's Holiday Film Series. Come celebrate the holidays with a lineup of "classic" Christmas movies that will bring holiday cheer. Begin each night with caroling and then watch your favorite movies on a full-sized movie screen. You can purchase tickets online.

The series kicks off Mon. Dec. 10 with a screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation; Chevy Chase and his family live on.

On Tues. Dec. 11 check out the all-time great It’s a Wonderful Life. Every person in attendance will be given a jingle bell and instructions on how to interact with the film.

Make it a three-fer: On Wed. Dec. 12 CMH screens Die Hard. Whether or not this is actually a Christmas movie (*cough*it is *cough*) is up for debate — but what isn’t is how great it is.

Finally, on Mon. Dec. 17, ELF hits the big screen — and those dressed up as an elf have the opportunity to win a prize.
