The New York Times dives in for an Alvin Greene profile. Just as the profiles before it, the piece almost offers more questions than answers.
There's also this cool nugget:
Mr. Greene said that since his victory, he has received calls from all over the world, including from a publishing agent in New York and a screenwriter in California. If a movie is made, he said, he wants to be portrayed by Denzel Washington.
For some reason, this story isn't screaming "Oscar" just yet. A lot of the plot points in this story are similar to Eddie Murphy's "The Distinguished Gentleman." That, unfortunately, was not an Oscar contender.
And we're pretty sure that Denzel avoids the movies with action figures.
