Operation Southern Hospitality, created by several South Carolina companies including Charleston-based private ambulance company MedOne Lowcountry, is looking for people to donate the following items:
• Non-perishable food
• New or clean and folded clothes
• Sleeping Bags
• Feminine products
• Baby diapers
• Baby wipes
• Baby formula
• Pet supplies
• Cleaning supplies
In the Charleston area, drop-off locations include:
• City Halls for Charleston, North Charleston, and Summerville
• North Charleston, Summerville, and Goose Creek fire stations
• All Curves locations
• All Agent Owned Realty locations

Once the donations are collected, they will be shipped by CSX train to the affected locations, where organizers have arranged to distribute items with the help of agencies including the New York City Fire Department, the New Jersey Emergency Management Assistance Compact, and New Jersey park services.
