Independent U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, drawing huge crowds in his campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, will pay another visit to South Carolina this weekend, this time with Dr. Cornel West for events in Columbia at Benedict College, at Winthrop University and in Florence.

The Vice President was on Colbert last night, and had a pretty emotional dialog about politics, loss, and his potential presidential campaign. Among other things, Biden told Colbert that after the recent death of his oldest son, he isn't sure if he has it in him for a presidential run. One last bit of 2016 news: According to a recent PPP poll, the overwhelming majority of South Carolina Republicans, 78 percent, think that U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham should drop his campaign for the White House. It probably doesn't help when you show up in the Washington Post as having "a bleak campaign message." Source: PPP, P&C
