An easy-to-use guide to finding arts on CCP's already incredibly easy-to-use website

It's looks like some — even those in the arts community — are still having a tough time finding what they need on City Paper's online database, the most comprehensive and easy-to-use database of stuff to do every day of the week — theater, dance, classical music, visual arts, and much, much, much more — in the whole of the Holy City.

So to make things really, really, really easy, I'm posting this really, really, really easy-to-use page of links to areas on City Paper's database that are dedicated solely to the largest arts organizations in the city — Charleston Symphony, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Charleston Stage, the Village Playhouse, PURE Theatre, the Flowertown Players, and, yes, even the Footlight Players.

For those who are web-savvy — meaning, you use the internet on occasion — you can go to our home page (charlestoncitypaper.com) and use our database. Let's break things down to their basic parts.

If you want to find out about theater, type the word "theater" in the search field. If you want to find out about dance, type the word "dance" in the search field.

If you don't have a specific date in mind, then don't pick specific date. If you have a specific date in mind — like, say, tonight — then enter that specific date.

It's tough, I know, but we'll get through this together.

Buck up, little guy.
