Local art maven Eva Carter will be closing her doors and saying goodbye to her gallery on May 26.
In conjunction with the French Quarter Gallery Association Art walk, and to bid her adieu, there will be a Farewell Party on Fri., May 1 from 5-8 p.m at the Eva Carter Gallery on 132 East Bay St.
Carter will be moving her gallery to her private studio on Wadmalaw Island, where she will welcome visitors by appointment starting in June. But no worries, Carter will still continue to exhibit from her studio, regardless of her new location.
From now on, The River Studio on Wadmalaw is where the gallery will host special receptions and exhibitions of Carter's abstract work.
