On Sat. May 2 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. the Olde North Charleston Picture House presents Lowcountry Indie Shorts. These shorts films showcase Lowcountry cinematography and film-making talent. Don't miss Search┬áby Brad Jayne set in the winter of 1989 as death is seen by an African-American maid. Tackle Box by Bob Newcomb explores on old woman's passion for fishing. Films shown at 4 p.m. include Wrench, Born of the Metropolis, Acquired Taste, and Replicant. At 7 p.m.: The Runaround, The Shepherd's Tale, The Merkin Man, Search, and Tackle Box.
