A Day in the Life of a Colonist

When: Sat., Feb. 14, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. 2009

This living history event will showcase some of the professional trades that helped support the fledgling colony as well as other daily-life chores and activities that were essential to the survival and success of Charles Towne. Visit the wharf area to board a reproduction 17th century trading vessel and experience a day in the life of a sailor. Experiences will also include colonial foodways, black powder demonstrations, and the construction of a colonial structure.
