Last Update: Fri. Sept. 6, 10:00 a.m.

We made it!

Sun's out — but so is the power for many folks, which means you're gonna want to get out of the house. We've seen that most area restaurants are attempting to open today if they have power/staff so we won't bore you with an exhaustive list of all the restaurants in town — check their social media for exact hours. Instead, here are some food and drink deals (and regular Friday specials that are still going down) we've spotted in the wake of Dorian.

As always, be careful on the roads (many stoplights are still out, debris hasn't yet been cleared), and be patient as these places are most likely working with a skeleton crew:

2Nixons will be at Proof on King with steaming bowls of ramen starting at 6 p.m. —  $2 off ramen for everyone who comes in, with drink specials to boot.

Edmund's Oast Exchange will host their Friday Jazz and Champagne fun from 5:30-7:30 p.m. $10 glasses of champagne with live music.

Frothy Beard is still without power but they're dying to serve up some brews — cash only grab $5 beers on the patio.

It's all you can eat pancake Friday (cash only at this point) at Early Bird Diner.

Pier 41
has $15 house bottles Fri. 11 a.m.-3 p.m., open all day.

Container Bar is open regular hours with late-night noodles from Sap-Lai on deck.

The Market at Hamby is open with their special 40th anniversary deal — buy any two casseroles for $19.79 and pair it with a bottle of wine for $19.79.

Bay Street Biergarten is open and is serving special $10 frozen hurricanes topped with Natural Light aloha beaches seltzer.

Zero Restaurant + Bar reopens Fri. night with a special offer unlimited Royale with Cheese burgers will be available through Sun. while supplies last. Since they usually only offer five burgers each night, this is a special treat for everyone anxious to get out of the house after Dorian. Additionally, $5 from every burger sold throughout the weekend will be donated to Jose Andres' World Central Kitchen foundation.

Edmund's Oast restaurant will have half-off all bottles of beer and wine Fri. post Dorian.
