An Evening of Rice: Cocktails and Dinner with Jonathan Green

A dinner to showcase Carolina Gold Rice and introduce Green’s “Rice Culture Project” to teach children about the role of African Americans in creating the rice economy. Cocktails, art display of Green’s work by Chuma Galleries, Q&A with Green and Rice Tasting from Allouette’s Cafe at Heirloom Book Co. Dinner at Charleston Library Society of SC quail, Carolina Gold Rice dishes and special items by Bajun chef Paul Yellin with presentations by Richard Porcher and Middleton Place historic interpreter.
