You may often ask yourself, as we do, “Is there anything better than looking at sweet fish at the Aquarium?” On most occasions, the answer is no. But fortunately this time the answer is a resounding, “Yes! Looking at sweet fish at the aquarium ... at night!” Stop on by the South Carolina Aquarium for some sweet fish observing, made-to-order food, hourly animal encounters, and two evening dive shows all under the cover of darkness. Oh, and there will be beer and wine. Have you ever sipped merlot with a backdrop of a 385,000 gallon two-story tank filled with the wonders of the ocean? Didn’t think so. Kate Ditloff, the aquarium’s public relations director, says, “It’s definitely got a different feel to it. The lighting’s cool and you can see the sun setting on the harbor. You can see dolphins swimming in the water and you walk around the aquarium and kinda see what animals are up to at night.”
