Art Binge: A Quarterly Art Market

When: Fri., June 30, 8 p.m. 2017

Are you a fan of art and live music? Head to Ill Vibe the Tribe’s first ever Art Binge, which features art by Columbia’s Soulful Bliss, Asheville’s Love Samurai, and Charleston’s Zulu Bantu and Concept Rxch. “The concept came from doing music showcases and noticing that we didn’t incorporate too much visual art,” says Sabrina Hyman, director of communications and partnerships, says. “We all have heavy visual art backgrounds and wanted to do an event that would give visual artists the spotlight they deserve.” Musicians Poppy Native, Niecy Blues, and Stella Rae of New Galaxy will perform, stitched together by DJ Sista Misses. In addition, Ambrosia Kitchen’s Aaron Eames will be there with a special menu and Emily Bramfield will be creating henna tattoos throughout the night.
