Middleton Place, in partnership with the Barbados Tourism Authority, will host a Barbados rum stroll. History lovers will learn about the important role rum played in the culture of both Barbados and the American colonies. Join special guest “Rhum Chef” Paul Yellin, chef and owner of Cane Rhum Bar and Caribbean Kitchen. Guests will enjoy a number of rums from Barbados – including Mt. Gay, the world’s oldest rum distillery and St. Nicholas Abbey, a 17th century island plantation.
