Bee City Honey preaches about the importance of the honeybee. And fall isn’t going to stop these hard workers. This farm is a stone’s throw from the Edisto River, and they’ve got a classroom with beekeeping equipment, learning materials, and a glass observation case housing live bees — the workers, the drones, and the queen. Bee City is home to a nature park, an old-fashioned café, a gift shop, and a petting zoo — everything a bee lover could ever want. They sell pound blocks of beeswax, smooth and creamy spun honey, hand lotion with royal jelly, and chocolate-covered honey candy. On the first Saturday of November and October they have a wool spinning demo and kiddie train rides.
