Best Bowling Alley

The Alley

Readers Pick

There’s only one place downtown where you can wear funky shoes, drink good beer, and kick some serious bowling league ass: The Alley. With eight lanes and food-and-drink service, The Alley’s bowling alley rocks our socks (that we forgot to bring, again) off. While The Alley is also a restaurant, sports bar (160-inch projection screens feature the biggest games of the day), and event space, we think its best feature is the one where you get to throw heavy balls at 10 pins. You can reserve lanes seven days a week before 7 p.m. (after that, it’s walk-ins only), so grab your friends (and your socks!) and check out The Alley’s alley. If your throwing arm needs a break but your inner kid doesn’t want to quit, check out The Alley’s classic arcade games. Sounds like a strike to us.
