Best Cheap, Boozy Sunday Brunch

The Pour House

Staff Pick

It’s not the largest farmers market, and it may not be the most glamorous, but the Sunday Brunch Farmers Market at the Pour House has something most markets lack: really cheap, really strong drinks. Sure, shopping for fresh produce and perusing artisan healing crystals is fun when jacked up on coffee, but imagine if you were happily tipsy with some crisp bills in your pocket. Suddenly you need the organic beef jerky dog treats that can be delivered right to your door, and those pretty little succulents in hand-hewn pots? We’ll take a dozen! It’s not a splurge when you’re buying local, right? The friendly PoHo bartenders make the Screwdrivers and the Bloodys 3/4 vodka with a splash of OJ or tomato juice for flavor. For five bucks. And trust us, we won’t judge if you get two, but ya really only need one. Sunday fundays never sounded so good. —Mary Scott Hardaway
