As soon as word got out that Verde would be selling their signature wraps and salads for $3.65 on their one-year anniversary in October, we knew there would be a line down King Street. That’s about half the price that the Caesar and Curried Beet and Cobb on King normally go for. And we were right. At lunchtime, we waited in line for at least 25 minutes, but it was all worth it when we walked away with our big bowl of Mesa Verde and a Boylan’s soda from the fountain. And it crossed our minds to come back later for dinner.
