This little market on Spring Street is all about eating and buying local. Billy Pope and Adaline Thomas get their produce — herbs, lettuces, peppers — from Sweet Bay Nursery, a hydroponic operation in Huger. They make kombucha and kimchi on site. They sell a bunch of local products, like American Classic Tea and Charleston Cookie Company items, while the place has a bit of a health food store vibe thanks to Remedy's focus on the nutritional and medicinal aspects of food. And they also provide a great space for the neighborhood to gather with their happy hour specials ($4 glasses of wine, $3 pints of craft beer). Stop by, get a sandwich, fill up a growler of beer, and embrace your locavorism. It's what all the cool kids are doing.
