Remember the thrill of going across the old Cooper River bridges? Well, last May, two Charleston-area teens who just weren't getting enough of a kick out of the tame new Arthur Ravenel Jr. bridge thought it would be a good idea to liven things up a little by scrambling from the pedestrian walkway to an under-bridge support beam. What could go wrong? A few Mt. Pleasant cops, a harness, and a couple of disorderly conduct charges later, everyone was safely back on solid ground. Also found in one of the kids' backpacks? A pipe "which appeared to be used to smoke marijuana." Talk about getting high.
