A little bit country, a little bit rock ’n’ roll, The Roof is a real gem, without even trying to be. With its earthy, no frills charm and unpretentious vibe, it’s a local favorite. It’s one of the best places to see a band, or to play if you’re in a band, particularly if original music is your thing. The staff is super cool, and you can tell they love what they do. With a plethora of tasty elixirs and well-priced brews, trivia, comedy, movie nights, Sunday brunch, a great covered porch, cool house music (who else would have Dax Riggs on heavy rotation?), and half-price burgers (and veggie burgers) on Tuesday nights, what’s not to love? Delightfully small with lots of heart, The Tin Roof is a warm, cozy Lowcountry treat.
