We imagine the same fate will befall this new burger night at Cypress. Chef Craig Deihl has crafted a burger menu that shoots straight for the hearts of gourmands on a budget. On Monday nights at the bar, you can get a burger for $5. He's got a wood-grilled one on a yeast roll with bacon jam and pimento cheese, and an all-American with cheese, pickled white onion, and housemade signature sauce, and then there's the patty melt with mushrooms, onions, and swiss cheese on brioche. Five bucks, people. Tell us that's not the best burger night around. We dare you.
