Husk is the story of the year when it comes to dining out in Charleston, and after The New York Times article in February, it's even harder to get in here than before. Southern down to its core, Husk is hearty, authentic, and delicious thanks to the vision and execution of Chef Sean Brock and his Chef de Cuisine Travis Grimes. They're sourcing only from within the South. They're changing the menu daily based on seasonal availability. They're using farmsteader techniques like canning, pickling, and curing to get them through the lean winter months, and Brock is ultimately blazing trails in Charleston's food scene. Oh, and then there's the bar next door with its bourbon selection, punt glasses, and rustic vibe — a great place to unwind after a hard day's work. Yeah, we understand why you voted Husk Charleston's Best New Restaurant.
