As neighborhoods go, Park Circle has a lot to recommend it: friendly neighbors, classic mid-century architecture, and killer bars and restaurants. But one thing it has lacked for a long time is access to fresh fruits and vegetables. The nearby grocery stores’ produce sections just weren’t cutting it, with the exception of a small but decent refrigerator at Save-A-Lot. Now, at long last, The Vegetable Bin has opened a new location at the intersection of East Montague and Virginia avenues, and the neighbors couldn’t be more pleased. In addition to beautiful local produce, the store carries some locally prepared goods including King of Pops’ popsicles and Rio Bertolini’s pasta.
