If there’s one thing that Charleston has lots of, it’s seafood. So, you’ve gotta know your stuff if you’re thinking about coming into town to open a seafood joint. Well, the guys at Rappahannock Oyster Co. know a thing or two. After revitalizing Chesapeake Bay oyster production, Rappahannock is bringing its Delmarva bivalves to the Lowcountry. Carving out a corner of the Cigar Factory on upper East Bay Street, Rappahannock has built a massive copper-topped circular bar that’s bound to be a low-key see-and-be-seen place. —Sam Spence
