As a test soon after they opened, Barsa, the Spanish tapas lounge, started serving paella on Monday nights. Made with authentic Calasparra rice, the seafood version comes dotted with shrimp, mahi, mussels, and calamari. They also have veggie and chicken and chorizo options. The paella proved to be so good, it deserved a regular place on the menu. They may not cook it outside over an open fire, but they do offer pans big enough for a table to share. You can get a single size ($12-$16), a double ($22-$30), or enough for six people ($30-$42). And guess what they do on Sunday and Monday? They cut the paella prices in half. It's not only the best paella in town, it's the best paella deal in town.
