Whoever says that if you’ve been to one beer festival, you’ve been to them all, hasn’t been to Brewvival. The festival, hosted at the Navy Yard, just wrapped its fourth annual event last month, and we’re still raving about the suds served up by brewers big and small, lager and lambic. The guys from COAST Brewery and the Charleston Beer Exchange continue to knock it out of the park year after year, adding shuttles to all the major Charleston boroughs in 2012 to ensure the maximum amount of time to take in each and every rare and quirky beer on display (and to get your sloppy self home safe). If you couldn’t make it to this year’s fest, complete with mud wrestling and ankle-deep muck, you missed the most memorable (and best?) Brewvival in the event’s short history. Haven’t been to a Brewvival yet? See you there next year.
