Brow ring, earring, lip ring, nip ring — at Museum of Living Arts you can get ’em all. The West Ashley location even offers a plexiglass viewing window that lets you see the sterilization process before your piercer ever touches you. Talk about transparency. Clean and safe is the name of the game at both the West Ashley and downtown locations. All piercing technicians receive annual training in CPR, first aid, and cross-contamination. No gunk in these gauges! Living Arts can do custom jewelry orders and make pieces specially for customers. To get an idea of their work, we checked out their Facebook page. We like what we see — pretty studs and hoops adorning ears, belly buttons, tongues, and, we can only imagine, a few nether regions. If you’re thinking about piercing a sensitive area, check out the video on Living Arts’ YouTube page titled “Scott and Einar’s first nipple piercing.” Oh, yeah.
