Even though the name sounds perilously close to a certain slang term for vomiting, Rolfing is actually about as far as you can get from hanging your head over a toilet. It involves a practitioner (who, in Mission Yoga's case, is also a yoga teacher) working with your connective tissue to realign your body. Mission's got other therapy offerings too: there's an integrative counselor who incorporates yoga and breath work into traditional counseling, and two certified one-on-one yoga therapists. And of course, there are the yoga classes, which run the gamut from the "Awaken to Stillness" meditation preparation class to the two-hour "Mission Practice" power class. The teachers here are big on personal expression for both themselves and their students, so there's no need to fear the dreaded headstand. You can wait it out in child's pose without fear of disapproval.
