Best Restaurant Move

Staff Pick

Minero is now housed in the room in which I held my wedding reception, which means I’ll always hear Louis Armstrong’s “Kiss to Build a Dream On” in my head as I eat queso fundido. That said, I’ve come to appreciate the restaurant’s move from the ground floor of the building on East Bay Street to the upstairs that once housed McCrady’s gallery event space. There’s more elbow room, and you won’t get stuck at a seat that felt like a bench on an old timey trolley. If only Sean Brock would add wedding cake to the menu, the new marriage of McCrady’s and Minero would be complete. —Kinsey Gidick
