If you haven’t met Jeremiah Bacon, or more specifically, tasted his food, then you’ve never really eaten at Carolina’s — at least not the Carolina’s of today. Sure, it might be the venerated old joint that you checked off your list years ago before migrating to other, more popular places. But Bacon’s Carolina’s is seriously dedicated to local fare. His kitchen depends on purveyors who show up at the back door with the local catch. From top-flight beer dinners to romantic nights out for a special occasion, Bacon’s tasty efforts should no longer be overlooked.
