We said it before, and we'll say it again: Diette Courrégé just might be the best reporter currently on The Post and Courier's staff. Which is why we don't envy the education reporter's most recent challenge of trying to write about a sexually explicit scene in the juvenile comedy Jackass 2 that led to the firing of a Wando High School teacher. But she did. And frankly it tickles us to no end that this paragraph made it into the local paper of record: "The video clip featured a nearly nude man with a puppet covering his penis. The man sticks it through a hole in the wall and into a tank with a snake in it. Another man uses a string to move the puppet-covered private parts around to provoke the snake into biting, which it does." Man, that was a funny scene. Thanks, Diette, for reminding us.
