We like to take the occasional walkabout around South of Broad’s historic mansions and hidden alleyways, and sometimes all that walking makes us hungry. Luckily, goat.sheep.cow. is perfectly situated so that strollers can pick up all of the supplies for a picnic, preferably to be enjoyed on the Battery or at Colonial Lake right around sunset. They’ve got fresh-baked baguettes, juicy olives, chocolate, and, of course, a well-curated selection of artisanal cheeses and meats. You can’t drink in public areas in Charleston, but if you were to be sneaky and hide a bottle of wine in your purse, we wouldn’t judge you one bit.
