We love street food and taco trucks, but we also love swanky dining rooms with outrageous style. At Shine, they’ve combined the two to great effect. The international menu flits all over the world, but our favorite dish is the arepa, a South American version of a taco. Take an unleavened cornmeal patty, grill it into a half-inch thick disk, and then slice it and stuff it with succulent fillings like pulled pork with sofrito or black beans and avocado. The best part is you can sit down, order a caipirnha, and make a leisurely meal of it, far away from the noise of the mad world outside the very stylish walls.
