Mixologist/owner Craig Nelson has been known to impress us with classic cocktails like the Martinez, a blend of Old Tom Gin with sweet vermouth, Luxardo maraschino, and a few dashes of bitters — a concoction that dates back to at least the 1880s. But he’s also found a way to utilize boiled peanuts to elevate a drink, showcasing his keen sense of innovation. We’re big fans of the Knuckleball, in which boiled peanuts take a mix of Old Grand-dad 114 bourbon, Mexican Coca-Cola reduction, and orange bitters to a new level. It’s a real treat.
