I like to think of myself as the poster girl for Charleston’s IV spas. I’ve been to Renew IV and Walk-in Clinic twice — once to help me through a stomach bug and another time to ease the pain of a hangover. While IV fluids aren’t a normal treatment — seriously, if you really needed them, wouldn’t every brunch spot have one? — they definitely come in handy when you’re really sick, whether with a virus or vodka. Just a few weeks after Renew opened, Vida-Flo, another IV spa that touts itself as the “hydration station,” opened on Calhoun Street.
