The knights of Charleston’s culinary round table really get their codpieces in a twist when you tell them a storm is brewing and, oh yeah, evacuation is mandatory (ish). Hurricane Matthew did just that in October. When then-governor Nikki Haley gave the command to get out of dodge, restaurateurs responded with a very clear “Say what?” Forget safety, they were ready to cash in on hurricane partiers.
