This Saturday, head to beloved dive the Recovery Room at 6 p.m. with your trusty, decked out bicycle and follow Charleston Moves as they lead the group to the Music Hall. This year’s Bicycle Film Fest lineup was built by veteran festival New York Bicycle Film Fest (now in its 17th year) and includes a dozen films. Some highlights include Boy, a film directed by Justin Chadwick, that follows a man coping with the loss of his son; Cycologic, directed by Emilia Stalhammar, Veronica Palsson, and Elsa Lowdin, that tells the story of Amanda Ngabirano, a woman determined to build a bike lane in her city of Kampala, Uganda; and Backpedal, a film directed by Ryan Cockrell that takes place in our very own Holy City, highlighting the dangerous conditions cyclists face every day. The films run 2.5 hours, and an after-party location will be announced on stage.
