Whether it’s the one about feeding his kids breakfast (chocolate cake!) or going to the dentist, Bill Cosby’s stories are unforgettably funny. He may be older, but you can bet he’s just as engaging as he’s always been. His stand-up gig consists of him, a chair, and a microphone — just as it always did — along with relatable stories about the simple things in life. And since Cosby doesn’t ever go blue, you can bring the whole family to this one. He’s been getting rave reviews for his latest tour, which brings him to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center this Sunday night. If you’ve got family coming to town for the holidays, this might be the best show to take them to. “His comedy transcends age, race, cultural boundaries, and is based on life experiences that we all understand,” says Alan Coker marketing manager of the NCPAC. “From movies to comedy albums to children’s cartoons to books to his iconic television show The Cosby Show, he is truly an American treasure."
