Charleston Outdoor Fest

When: April 15-17 2016

Celebrate recreation in the great outdoors at the Charleston Outdoor Festival and try your hand at kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, archery, rock climbing, disc golf, slacklining, and mountain biking. The festival will include a vendor village, tournaments and competitions, the Reel Paddling Film Festival, and a live music lineup including Dark Bitter, Me & Mr. Jones, Shrimp City Slim, Calhoun’s Calling, and Uncle Funkle. On Saturday evening there will also be a special presentation from the crew of the Polynesian voyaging canoe Hokulea, who are on a voyage around the world, at the park’s Edisto Hall that will be free and open to the public. Make sure to stop by the Try It Zone, where guests can, well, try out new activities before deciding to purchase equipment or register for a class.
